He requested that 6d., PUD-82-13-3M, Tony Chan, be continued to the 1/12/94 meeting. The Commission agreed to this request. ~ MA TIERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION There were none. ~ PUBLIC HEARINGS 6a. UP-93-68. Grant Tabuchi and Steven Pfin~en Application for a conditional use pennit to operate a karate/martial arts facility located at 915-C Main Street. Zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial) District. Application withdrawn by the applicant. 6b. UP-93-78. Grant Tabuchi and Steven Pfim!sten Application for a conditional use permit to operate a karate/martial arts facility located at 243-A Main Street. Zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial), Downtown Revitalization, and Civic Overlay Districts. Mr. Swift presented the staff report for a karate/martial arts facility at 243-A Main Street. Staff recommends approval of this application subject to the conditions of approval in Exhibit l'B." In response to Commissioner Wright, Mr. Swift stated that the intent of Condition 2b was that there would be no more than 15 students in the adult class, whenever that class may be held, in order to minimize parking problems. He further clarified that staff feels the parking is sufficient for the area. PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. Jerry Lamb, J. Lamb and Associates, represented the applicants.
