CHAMBERS <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, December 8, 1993 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting of December 8, 1993, was called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />by Chairman McGuirk. <br /> <br />1. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: <br /> <br />Jack Hovingh, Sharrell Michelotti, Marcelline Mahern, Bob <br />Wright, Gene Finch (Alternate) and Chairman Hal McGuirk <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />Brian Swift, Director of Planning Department; Dennis <br />Beougher, Assistant City Attorney; Roger Higdon, Assistant <br />Director of Public Works; and Terri Czapinski, Recording <br />Secretary <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The draft Minutes of November 22, 1993, were approved with one modification: <br /> <br />8d. Review of the South Livermore Valley Agricultural Land Trust Steering Committee <br />Presentation <br /> <br />5th Paragraph was rewritten as follows: <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner Wright, Commissioner Michelotti stated that the Land <br />Trust Committee has yet to be established and by-laws need to be written. The <br />concept is that the monies from the Trust be used to acquire open space and promote <br />viticulture. In addition, the plan also calls for complementary uses such as bed and <br />breakfasts and some commercial/retail.
