Commissioner Wright concurs with the previous Commissioners' opinions. He would like to
see the 42" high berm to remain at the end of all the courts and not be supplemented with
landscape screening. He feels landscaping is not a permanent solution.

Chairman McGuirk concurred with the other Commissioners' comments and opinions. He
raised a concern that the Alameda County Transportation Corridor could possibly be taken
and reused, but if the community park is approved, he feels it might lessen that potential
problem. Chairman McGuirk feels this project is beneficial because it makes homes
available to first-time buyers.

Commissioner Michelotti reintroduced the topic of the berms and the possible addition of
landscaping. There was a discussion among the Commissioners regarding this, and
Commissioner Wright feels that when the project is engineered, special attention should be
paid so there is a 42" berm height at the end of each court thereby negating the need for
additional landscape screening.

A motion was made by Commi....ioner Wright, seconded by Commi"Sioner Michelotti,
making the tentative map fmdings and approving Vesting Tentative Tract 6653 subject
to the conditious listed in Exhibit "B" with the following modifications:

. Condition 12t, location of worm diverter.
. Condition 13h, height of berms.
. Condition 13i, delete reference to 8 ft. fence height.
. Condition 16a(i), delete reference of building Street HH to Street AA
during Phase 1.

ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Michelotti, Mahern, Wright, Finch and Chairman
McGuirk
None
Commissioner Hovingh
None

NOES:
ABSENT:
ABSTAIN:

Resolution No. PC-93-67 was entered and adopted approving Vesting Tentative Tract
Map 6653 as motioned.

ful.
