Robert Cordtz returned to the podium. He maintained that parkin issues were never
addressed, but that the church across the street was going to allow the mortuary to use their
parking lot, if they found it necessary. Mr. Cordtz thought that s ould be put in the deed.
He expressed concern that when Seniors attend funerals, they wo d have a difficult time
getting to the mortuary. He also felt Design Review should have ddressed this issue.

~

Peter MacDonald said he thought he could clear up the confusion. He surmised that Mr.
Cordtz had been at a variance hearing, such as now, and traffic is ues were not to be
addressed at that point. He said at the Design Review hearing, no one raised the issue of
traffic. He figured that the reason they were told they could not d scuss traffic issues is
because it was a variance proceeding, not a Design Review meetin . Mr. MacDonald then
addressed the second issue of not receiving notices. He observed that probably what
happened is that there were two computer runs; Ms. Bianchi's na e and those others who
did not receive notices were simply not on the correct list. He als observed that usually
neighbors are more sensitive to these issues and would have discu sed it with one another.
At this point, these problems are a great inconvenience to the app cant and they can do
nothing about it.

THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED.

A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by Co missioner Horan
recommending denial of the appeal for AP-91-1O and upholding a roval for Case V-91-18.

ROLL CALL VOTE

AYES:
NOES:
ABSENT:
ABSTAIN:

Commissioners Horan, Hovingh, McGuirk, Michel tti and Chairman Mahern
None
None
None

Resolution No. PC-92-5 was entered and adopted denying Case A -91-10 as motioned.

PUD-91-14.
