of Abbey Street, or on the westerly side of ~ain Street between the <br />northerly limits of the Town of Pleasanton and the northerly line of <br />Bernal Avenue, exceptin~ only while such vehicle is actually engaged <br />in loading thereon or Unloading therefrom passengers, or freight, <br />merchandise or other material transported or to be transported. <br /> <br /> SECTION 8: The Chief of Police shall mark or cause to be <br />marked on either side of any street in the Town of pleasanton whe~e <br />a bus or transportation company has established a bus depot, in close <br />proximity to said bus depot, and on both sides of said street, a <br />space, not over forty (40~ feet in length, for the exclusive use of <br />passenger buses receiving and discharging passengers traveling to and <br />from Pleasanton. The Chief of police shall cause the curb along <br />said space to be plainly marked ~vith red paint and signs ~'No parking- <br />painted on the pavement adjacent thereto. It shall be unlav~ful for <br />any person to park any vehicle or to leave or permit any vehicle or <br />other object, other than buses receiving or discharging passengers, <br />to stand in the street adjacent to the curb so marked and set aside <br />for buses by the Chief of police. <br /> <br /> SECTION V: The Chief of police shall mark or cause to be <br />marked a space a'long the curb in front of any theater or place of <br />entertainment open daily to the public in the Town of pleasanton of <br />not more than twenty-five (25) feet in length in front of such <br />theater or place of public entertainment, which space shall be plain- <br />ly marked on the curb thereof with a suitable colored paint, and it <br />shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle or to leave or <br />permit any vehicle to stand upon the street adjacent to or in front <br />of the curb so marked by the Chief of police in front of any such <br />theater or place of entertainment while any performance or entertain- <br />ment is being given, shown or conducted therein. <br /> <br /> SECTION 8: The Chief of police may mark or cause to be <br />marked a sYYitable place along the curb on each side of each block <br />in the Town of pleasanton, not over thirty (~0) feet in length, for <br />the use of vehicles while loading or unloading freight, merchandise <br />or other material. The curb along such space shall be painted with <br />yellow paint and suitably marked to indicate to the public that it <br />is set aside as a loading zone, and where any such space is so set <br />aside and marked by the Chief of Police it shall be unlawful for <br />any person to park any vehicle or leave or permit any vehicle to <br />stand adjacent to or in front of such space so marked along any <br />curb, excepting only while freight, merchandise or other material <br />is actually being loaded upon or unlsaded from such vehicle. <br /> <br /> SECTION 9: The Chief of Police shall mark or cause to be <br />marked a space along the curb in front of the City Mall on the wester- <br />ly side of ~iain Street at the intersection of Division Street, of not <br />more than forty (40) feet in length, for the exclusive use of police <br />and emergency vehicles upon active duty in the Town of pleasanton, <br />which space shall be plainly marked on the curb thereof with a suit- <br />able colored paint and designated as a parking space for police and <br />emergency vehicles, and it shall be unlawful for any person to park <br />any vehicle or to leave or permit any vehicle to stand upon the <br />street adjacent to or in front of the curb so marked by the Chief of <br />Police unless such vehicle is a police or emergency vehicle upon <br />active duty in the Town of pleasanton. <br /> <br /> SECTION 10: It shall be unlawful for any person to park <br />or leave s~ar~d'ing any vehicle along the northerly curb and/or the <br />southerly curb of Spring Street for a distance of forty (40) feet <br />easterly from its intersection with the easterly boundary line of <br /> <br /> <br />
