<br />Resolution No. PC-93-53 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />e. <br /> <br />f. <br /> <br />g. <br /> <br />h. <br /> <br />The use of retaining walls is disc uraged; retaining <br />walls under three (3) feet in height may be allowed if <br />necessary to reduce grading or for la dscape terracing. <br />Retaining walls over three (3) feet in height are not <br />allowed. Retaining walls under a pro osed home and not <br />visible may be allowed in conjunction with a split level <br />house design. All retaining walls vi ible from Foothill <br />Road shall be faced with natural m terials, such as <br />natural stone, wood, etc. and shall be screened with <br />native landscaping. <br /> <br />i. <br /> <br />The applicant shall comply with the ecommendations of <br />the tree report prepared by HORTSCI CE dated November <br />20, 1989. No tree trimming or pruni g other than that <br />specified in the tree report shall ocqur. The applicant <br />shall arrange for the horticultural co,sultant to conduct <br />a field inspection prior to issuance lof grading permits <br />to ensure that all recommendations ave been properly <br />implemented. The consultant shall ertify in writing <br />that such recommendations have b en followed. A <br />supplemental tree report, for onl trees that are <br />impacted by the development, shall b submitted at the <br />time of house plan review to assess t e health and vigor <br />of the site's trees. <br />I <br /> <br />The use of stucco siding, in limited~mounts, is allowed <br />if the elevation contains other natu al materials, such <br />as wood and/or stone, which visually p oduce an elevation <br />that is sensitive to the natural sur oundings. <br /> <br />The design, construction, and Plac1:ment of accessory <br />structures shall conform to the requi ements of the R-l- <br />20,000 zoning district except as mod'fied by the design <br />guidelines. No accessory structures s~all be constructed <br />within the Foothill Road setback area r between the east <br />(Foothill Road) building elevation nd Foothill Road. <br />Minor grading for landscaping or drl~ewaY purposes are <br />allowed subject to review and approv 1 of the Planning <br />Director.
