Resolution No. PC-93-49
Page 6

a. The design of the water system shall insure that on a
average day, the water pressure does not fall below 40
psi, at the peak hour the pressure doe not fall below 30
psi, and with fire flow the pressure d es not fall below
20 psi, all of which shall be measur d at the meter. A
hydraulic analysis that models the wa er system shall be
submitted for review and approval of the city Engineer
with the submittal of the improveme t plans prior to
final map approval.

b. Where the static pressure exceeds 100 psi (elevations
below approximately 550 feet), ducti e iron pipe water
mains, saddles for service connecti ns and Class 200
polyethylene services shall be used unless otherwise
approved by the city Engineer.

c. Pressure reduction valves (PRVs) sha 1 be installed at
the house to lower the water pressure to 80 psi, at all
homes where deemed necessary. No PRVs hall be permitted
at curbside.

d. Piping between the water meter and the PRV shall be 1.5-
inch minimum diameter and upgraded to chedule 80, or as
determined by the Chief Building Off ic ' al, to accommodate
the expected higher water pressures. A 1 service laterals
between the main and the meter shall b 1.5 inch minimum
diameter and shall be upgraded to accommodate the
additional water pressure, as dete ined by the city
Engineer.

e. The applicant shall install a reduce pressure station
near the intersection of A street and the EVA, if
determined necessary by the City Engin er, such that the
line in the EVA and "B" Court maybe a a lower pressure
zone.

f.

The exact location of the
Foothill road shall be approved
prior to the submittal of the
Foothill Road.

water mains in
he city Engineer
ovement plan for

g.

The size of the water main in "A" stree
Road and the EVA shall be approved by

between Foothill
he City Engineer.

17. Unless otherwise approved by the City Engin er the storm drain
line on "A" street near the intersection of Foothill Road
shall not dump into the drainage swale but shall continue to
Foothill Road and tie directly into the s orm drain culvert
crossing Foothill Road. The final storm d ainage design for
the area shown as the drain swale along th east side of "B"
Court shall be subject to review and app oval by the City
Engineer prior to approval of the final map. The final design
may include piped storm drainage systems r storm drainage
swales.
