<br />5-3 Refined Grading plan (Draft EIR, page 5-14). Said mitigation <br />measures were considered and adopted with any pertinent <br />changes in condition 5-3(A - E), Exhibit "B" of the Planning <br />commission staff report dated May 27, 1992. <br /> <br />Finding: Mitigation Measures 5-2 and 5-3 Feasible and Required <br /> <br />The city finds that it is feasible to sUbstantially avoid this <br />impact by requiring the applicant and successors in interest to <br />incorporate the specific provisions of Mitigation Measures 5-2 and <br />5-3 into the project design. The applicant and successors in <br />interest shall incorporate such grading impact reduction into <br />project design as a "condition of Approval" to the project. <br /> <br />Sound Wall <br /> <br />xmpact: Inappropriate sound walls <br /> <br />The city finds that inappropriate sound walls could diminish the <br />visual qualities of the site. This is a significant impact (Draft <br />EIR, page 5-9). <br /> <br />proposed Mitigation Measure of the EXR <br /> <br />The EIR identified the following mitigation measure which would <br />substantially Avoid this visual and site design impact. <br /> <br />5-4 sound Wall Plan (Draft EIR, page 5-14). Said mitigation <br />measures were considered and adopted with any pertinent <br />changes in condition 5-4, Exhibit "B" of the Planning <br />commission staff report dated May 27, 1992. <br /> <br />Finding: Mitigation Measure 5-4 Feasible and Required <br /> <br />The city finds that it is feasible to sUbstantially avoid this <br />impact by requiring the applicant and successors in interest to <br />incorporate the specific provisions of Mitigation Measure 5-4 into <br />the project design. The applicant and successors in interest shall <br />incorporate such noise barrier provisions into project design as a <br />"Condition of Approval" to the project. <br /> <br />Northwest Area of Development <br /> <br />Impact: Ridgeline alteration visual impact <br /> <br />The city finds that the project, as currently proposed, would lower <br />the ridgeline in the northwest area of development and homes would <br />be constructed on the altered ridgeline which would be silhouetted <br />against the sky: These proposed alterations would be a significant <br />impact (Draft EIR, page 5-9). <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />II .; . <br />
