<br />d) The applicant shall comply with the recommendations of <br />the "Tree Survey (for) Homewood suites, Pleasanton, CA", <br />prepared by Hortscience, Inc. dated March 26, 1992. The <br />applicant shall arrange for the horticultural consultant <br />to review the building permit plan set and to conduct a <br />field inspection prior to issuance of grading permits to <br />ensure that all recommendations have been properly <br />implemented. Prior to occupancy the consultant shall <br />certify in writing to the Planning Director that such <br />recommendations have been followed. <br /> <br />e) The applicant shall post cash, letter of credit, or other <br />security satisfactory to the Planning Director in the <br />amount of $5,000 for each tree required to be preserved. <br />This cash bond or security shall be retained for one year <br />following acceptance of public improvements or completion <br />of construction, whichever is later, and shall be <br />forfeited if the trees are destroyed or SUbstantially <br />damaged. <br /> <br />f) The applicant shall provide root control barriers and <br />four inch perforated pipes for parking lot trees, street <br />trees, and trees in planting areas less than ten feet in <br />width, as determined necessary by the Planning Director <br />at the time of review of the final landscape plans. <br /> <br />g) Prior to occupancy, the landscape architect shall certify <br />in writing to the planning Director that the landscaping <br />has been installed in accordance with the approved <br />landscape and irrigation plans with respect to size, <br />number, and species of plants and overall design concept. <br /> <br />h) The applicant shall adjust the sprinkler heads to <br />redirect the water away from the monument sign while <br />ensuring complete irrigation coverage of the landscaping <br />around the sign. All landscaping around the sign shall <br />be restored after installation of the sign and prior to <br />final of the sign permit. <br /> <br />A final landscape plan and irrigation plan shall be submitted <br />to and approved by Planning Director as part of the building <br />permit plan set prior to issuance of an on-site permit. said <br />landscape plan shall be consistent with the approved landscape <br />plan plus the above-mentioned conditions of approval. <br /> <br />15. Paving: <br /> <br />a) six inch vertical concrete curbs shall be installed <br />between all paved and landscaped areas. <br /> <br />b) Special accent paving, e.g, briCk, patterned concrete, <br />etc., as shown on the site plan shall be reviewed and <br />approved by the Planning Director prior to issuance of a <br />building permit. <br /> <br />- <br />
