<br />a. The crowns of all sycamore trees to remain shall be <br />thinned by approximately 20-30 % according to approved <br />arboricultural practices. The resulting canopy shall <br />have a balanced or reasonably symmetrical appearance. <br /> <br />b. All work to be performed on the sUbject trees, whether <br />top pruning, root pruning, cabling or other, shall be <br />performed by a W.C.I.S.A. Certified Arborist. <br /> <br />6. The developer shall post a $5,000 bond for each of the <br />Sycamore trees for the duration of construction. The bond <br />shall remain in place for the three Sycamore trees adjacent to <br />the building for a period of three (3) years after occupancy. <br />Should such trees be damaged, be affected by disease or decay, <br />or should they die, each tree shall be replaced by a specimen- <br />sized tree as determined by the Planing Director and the <br />City'S landscape Architect. One-half of the bond for each <br />tree that is required to be replaced shall be utilized by the <br />City in a City-wide tree-planting program. <br /> <br />7. If archaeologic materials are uncovered during grading, <br />trenChing or other on-site excavation, earthwork within 30 <br />meters of these materials shall be stopped until a <br />professional archaeologist who is certified by the Society of <br />California Archaeology (SCA) and/or the Society of <br />Professional Archaeology (SOPA) has had an opportunity to <br />evaluate the significance of the find and suggest appropriate <br />mitigation measures if they are deemed necessary. <br /> <br />8. Exterior walls shall be free of air conditioning, heating or <br />other mechanical equipment. <br /> <br />9. Final inspection is required by the Planning Department prior <br />to occupancy. <br /> <br />lO. All roof equipment must be located below the top of the <br />parapet wall to the satisfaction of the planning Director. <br />Evidence to this effect shall be submitted to the Planning <br />Director prior to building permit issuance. <br /> <br />11. The project shall comply with all requirements of the <br />Pleasanton Fire Department including those conditions outlined <br />in the plan review dated January 7, 1992" on file with the <br />Planning Department. These conditions include providing a <br />fixed fire extinguishing systems, an approved automatic fire <br />sprinkler system, and locating the Fire Department connection <br />within 40 feet of the nearest fire hydrant. <br /> <br />12. Any double check values servicing the site shall be shown on <br />the development plan for approval by the Planning Director <br />prior to the issuance of a building permit. These devices <br />shall be screened with landscaping and painted a dark green to <br />the satisfaction of the Planning Director. <br />
