Service Coordination <br /> <br /> As the primary Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) provider for the Tri- <br /> Valley, the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) completes all <br /> coordination of rides into other parts of the Bay Area. LAVTA staff completes <br /> the certification of all the area's ADA riders and coordinates this information with <br /> the Pleasanton Paratransit Office. LAVTA assures that this coordination is <br /> consistent with the local and regional requirements. Pleasanton Paratransit <br /> Service and the LAVTA Wheels Dial-A-Ride programs work together to <br /> coordinate rides for clients in the Th-Valley. Through this partnership, a more <br /> responsive transportation service exists for the residents. <br /> <br />3. Efficiency and Effectiveness <br /> <br /> The fourth quarter MTC report of the Pleasanton Paratransit Service for FY <br /> 2003/04 is attached for review. (See Attachment C) This statistical report <br /> summarizes the accomplishments for the year. Some of the highlights include: <br /> <br /> · 24,867 vehicle trips completed <br /> · 101,434 revenue vehicle miles completed <br /> · 8,522 revenue vehicle hours accomplished <br /> · 17,592 shared passenger rides coordinated <br /> · 4,736 lift-assisted trips completed <br /> · 96% rating for on-time service <br /> <br /> The City of Pleasanton hired Caporficci & Larson to complete an audit of the <br /> Pleasanton Paratransit Service for FY 2003/04. This audit found no problems <br /> with the financial management of the service. <br /> <br /> <br />
