Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority <br />Special Transportation for Seniors and People with Disabilities <br /> <br />Describe what additional services will be offered in your plarming area as a result of the <br />Gap planning area process. <br /> <br />Response: <br />LAVTA is currently coordinating a medical return trip program funded through <br />Measure B East County Planning Area Gap dollars. The program focuses on improved <br />coordination for Tri-valley dialysis patients, which will ultimately improve efficiency for <br />all clients. <br /> <br /> · How will you obtain and/or track necessary financial and operating information for <br /> program management and reporting? <br /> <br /> · If private vendors or contractors are providing the information, what steps will you <br /> take to verify or check the accuracy of the information? <br /> <br /> · If performance data is collected by sampling, what steps will be taken to ensure that <br /> samples are representative and randomized? <br /> <br />Response: <br />Operating Statistics <br /> <br />Statistical record keeping is done through an automated scheduling and records <br />management sofnvare. The software keeps records on clients transported, escorts/guests, <br />lif~ assisted trips, in-services miles and hours, cancellations, trip purpose, shared rides, <br />rides per hour, on-time performance, and denials. This data is input daily by the dispatch <br />staff, and monthly statistical reports are prepared for the City of Pleasanton, MTC, and <br />ACTIA. A yearly audit of the records is completed by the City of Pleasanton and <br />reviewed by ACTIA staff. <br /> <br />Financial Record Management <br /> <br />Punch card sales and redemption procedures are as follows: <br /> <br />Pleasanton residents are sold a punch card valued at $20.00 for use as needed. Residents <br />fi.om Sunol and unincorporated areas of Pleasanton pay $25.00. Drivers punch the cards <br />according to destination. A daily record of punch card sales is maintained at the <br />Pleasanton Senior Center. <br /> <br />The City of Pleasanton Finance Department prepares a monthly report that itemizes <br />operating costs.
