A yearly audit is <br />completed by the City of Pleasanton and reviewed by ACTIA staff. <br /> <br />For FY 2005-06, the PPS anticipates the following funding: <br /> <br />Funding Source Funding <br /> <br />MTC 4.5 $54,455 <br />Alameda County Measure B $77,305 <br />Fares $46,000 <br />City of Pleasanton (Local match) $363,998 <br /> <br />Total Budget $541,758 <br /> <br />Describe planned outreach to ensure that potential users of the services (including <br />coordinated services) learn about them. <br /> <br />Response: <br />Marketing of the PPS is completed through the City of Pleasanton's Parks and <br />Community Services Department. PPS is promoted in a quarterly Activities Guide, which <br />is distributed to all Pleasanton residents. <br /> <br />The PPS Rider's Guide was recently updated and sent to all PPS clients. This is an <br />effective marketing tool and is dis~ibuted to local stores, medical offices, the library, <br />senior housing complexes, and service centers. <br /> <br />A new one page PPS flyer has been developed as an inexpensive marketing tool to use in <br />mass mailings and distribution. <br /> <br />The Pleasanton Senior Center produces a quarterly newsletter which includes information <br />regarding the Paratransit Services, as well as other public transit. <br /> <br />PPS regularly participates in the annual Pleasanton Holiday Parade, which attracts over <br />10,000 people. <br /> <br />The City of Pleasanton's website (www.ci.pleasanton.ca.us) includes a City PPS <br />information page and application. <br /> <br />All PPS customers are given the Access Alameda Transit Guide as part of the new client <br />packet for regionally coordinated transit. During Fall 2004, all exisitng clients were sent <br />this guide. <br /> <br />Local transit information is coordinated through collaborative marketing efforts with <br />LAVTA.
