Resolution No. PC-95-55
Page l3

measured at the water meter. Prior to approval of a
final map for any lots which require water service from
the Phase II water reservoir, an hydraulic analysis of
the water system model shall be submitted concurrently
with final improvement plans for review and approval of
the City Engineer.

b. Where the static pressure exceeds 100 psi (i.e., at
elevations below approximately 550 feet), ductile iron
pipe water mains, saddles for service connections and
Class 200 polyethylene services shall be used unless
otherwise approved by the City Engineer.

c. Pressure reductions valves (PRVs), shall be installed at
the house to lower the water pressure to 80 psi at all
homes where deemed necessary by the City Engineer. No
PRVs shall be permitted at curbside.

d. Piping between the water meter and PRV shall be 1.5-inch
minimum diameter and upgraded to Schedule 80 to
accommodate the expected higher water pressures, or as
otherwise determined by the Chief Building Official. All
service laterals between the main and the meter shall be
1.5 - inch minimum diameter and shall be upgraded to
accommodate the additional water pressure, as determined
necessary by the City Engineer.

e. If determined by the City Engineer, a reduced pressure
station(s) shall be installed such that certain tracts
may be served at a lower pressure zone.

39. The portion of the water main from the reservoir to the street
shall be ductile iron unless otherwise approved by the City
Engineer. This line shall be cathodic protected if located
adjacent to the PG&E gas main and if so determined by the City
Engineer and/or PG&E.

40. With submittal of the first final map of PODs 0, R, V, or W,
the final improvement plans for the tract shall include
detailed landscape and irrigation plans for vegetative
screening around the second water reservoir. Landscape
material shall be consistent with other native, drought- and
deer-resistant materials consistent with the Ruby Hill Master
Landscape Plan, and shall be subject to the review and
approval of the Planning Director and City Landscape
Architect. Fencing materials also shall be indicated, subject
to the review and approval of the Planning Director and City
Engineer. Landscaping and improvements shall be completed
prior to acceptance of the tract improvements of the first
final map of POD o.
