<br />Resolution No. PC-95-12 <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />ON-SITE OPERATIONS/CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />38. All existing wells on the site shall be removed or sealed, <br />filled and abandoned pursuant to Alameda County ordinance <br />73-68, prior to the start of grading operations unless Zone <br />7 retains specific wells for observation wells, or special <br />approval is obtained from the City Engineer for temporary <br />use of an existing well for construction water. Any wells <br />designated for abandonment or any wells, encountered during <br />construction, are to be destroyed in accordance with a <br />permit obtained from Zone 7. <br /> <br />39. Any damage to existing street improvements during <br />construction on the subject property shall be repaired to <br />the satisfaction of the city Engineer at full expense to the <br />developer. This shall include slurry seal, overlay, or <br />street reconstruction if deemed warranted by the City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />40. At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any <br />other vehicle be used as living or sleeping quarters on the <br />construction site. All such vehicles shall be removed from <br />the site at the end of each work day. <br /> <br />41. Portable toilets used during construction shall be kept as <br />far as possible from existing residences and shall be <br />emptied on a regular basis as necessary to prevent odor. <br /> <br />42. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start <br />of construction to final inspection. <br /> <br />LANDSCAPING AND TREE PRESERVATION <br /> <br />43. All trees used in lands~a~ing be a m~n~mum of 15 gallons in <br />size and all shrubs a m~n~mum of 5 gallons, unless otherwise <br />shown on the approved landscape plan. <br /> <br />44. The developer shall provide a bond to the City guaranteeing <br />the installation of all common open space and recreational <br />improvements, private streets, street trees, and all common <br />infrastructure improvements shown on the approved <br />development plan or otherwise required as part of this <br />development. The developer shall provide an itemized cost <br />estimate of said improvements, to be submitted with the <br />bond, for the review and approval the Planning Director <br />prior to issuance of building permits. The bond shall be <br />returned to the developer upon acceptance of said <br />improvements by the Planning Director. <br />
