She also feels the permitted use list should be reviewed for <br />noise-producing uses. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright commented that the major thrust of the review was to establish some <br />rules, whether or not the Commission decided to modify the PUD. He feels the neighbors, <br />businesses and management are all willing to meet to discuss mutual concerns and needs. <br />The property owners also are aware they cannot bring in tenants that could potentially be a <br />nuisance to the neighbors. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh suggested that unamplified music be enforced, and the youth of the <br />City are a significant problem for this area. He feels the police should strictly enforce the no <br />skateboarding rules. <br /> <br />Commission McGuirk also feels there is more work to be done by all parties concerned. <br /> <br />Recommendations from the Commission: <br /> <br />· 8:00 a.m. start for leaf blowing and delivery trucks, Monday through Friday, <br />for the 52 space parking lot area. <br />· Planning issues to be maintained and implemented by subsequent management <br />teams. <br />· Keys to gate should be exclusively kept by management personnel and security <br />personnel only. <br />· Put up "no trespassing" signs in the area. <br />· Commissioner McGuirk suggested limiting outdoor parties after 9:00 p.m. <br />· Staff suggested access needs to be provided for emergency vehicles for safety <br />issues. <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk motioned, seconded by Commissioner Wright, recommending <br />PUD-85-10, Hopyard Village Shopping Center, be further reviewed by staff to continue <br />work between neighbors and business and address items discussed for PUD <br />modification. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Barker, Hovingh, McGuirk, Wright and Chairman Lutz <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />The motion carried. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Page 12 <br /> <br />November 8, 1995 <br />
