Sandra Stefani <br />Application for a conditional use permit to conduct massage therapy in conjunction with <br />an existing beauty salon located at 39 California Avenue, Suite 109. Zoning for the <br />property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C (Commercial) District. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson presented the staff report for a conditional use permit to conduct a massage <br />therapy business in conjunction with an existing beauty salon. Mr. Iserson described the <br />business operations. Staff determined sufficient parking is available. Staff recommends <br />approval of this application, subject to the conditions of approval. <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk asked if the massage certificate in the staff report will be renewed <br />since it had expired in March. He also clarified Page 3 of the staff report notes any future <br />beauty salon at this location will have to have the Zoning Administrator determine if <br />adequate parking exists before allowing its operation. Staff agreed. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />Sandra Stefani, represented her application. She noted she had read the staff report and <br />agrees to all of the conditions of approval. In response to Commissioner McGuirk, Ms. <br />Stefani noted the massage therapist has had her license renewed.
