Chairperson Roberts advised that the first sentence of paragraph 5 on page 7 should be <br />changed to read as follows: "...and that Express Liquors was located approximately three <br />blocks from £~ McDonald's." <br />Chairperson Roberts advised that paragraph 5 on page 8 should be changed to read as <br />follows: "Chairperson Roberts believed that this project could possibly mitigate traffic <br />because other diverted trips were not modeled in the 2003 Traffic Modeling." <br />Commissioner Fox advised that the first sentence of the last paragraph on page 5 should <br />be changed to read as follows: "Based upon staff's clarification memo concluding that <br />the traffic would have minimal to little impact, Commissioner Fox advised that she had <br />changed her mind with respect to the negative declazation from the last meeting and that <br />she had met with staff and the applicant." <br />The minutes were approved as corrected. <br />3. PDR-408, Aura, Geor¢e Karpaty <br />Application for design review approval for exterior changes to the existing <br />Sh-Boom restaurant and nightclub located at 4825 Hopyard Road in the Gateway <br />Shopping Center in the Hacienda Park. Zoning for the property is PUD-I/C-O <br />(Planned Unit Development -Industrial/Commercial-Office) District. <br />Ms. Kline summarized the staff report. She noted that changes to the facility would <br />include both an interior remodel, replacing the 1950's diner theme with a more <br />sophisticated, plush design theme to attract a more professional clientele. The exterior <br />changes are subject to design review, and the exterior paint would be changed to an earth <br />tone theme. She distributed a color board to the Commission.
