PUD 41, Paul Pflue <br />Application for PUD development plan approval to allow a 1,229-square-foot, <br />second-story addition and remodeling of an existing one-story, 2,133-square-foot, <br />single-family home located at 582 Sycamore Road in the North Sycamore Specific Plan <br />area. The subject property is zoned PUD-LDR (Planned Unit Development -Low <br />Density Residential) District. <br />This item was continued to the September 22, 2004 meeting. <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />EPA Study on Hot Mix Asphalt Plants <br />Commissioner Fox wished to give a copy of an EPA study on emissions of hot mix asphalt <br />plants to staff, City Council, and the Planning Commission. <br />Vacant Building and Pazked Cazs <br />Commissioner Fox noted that several residents have asked her about an abandoned restaurant on <br />Hopyard Road off of I-580. <br />Commissioner Maas noted that the name of the restaurant was Stevie B's. <br />Commissioner Fox noted that an RV had been pazked there for several months, which is now <br />gone. She inquired about the status of that property and its condition. <br />Mr. Iserson advised that the restaurant went out of business and that there was no current tenant <br />at this point. He noted that any complaints about vehicles should be addressed to the Police <br />Department. <br />Commissioner Kamenv's Status <br />Commissioner Maas inquired whether Commissioner Kameny would be attending future <br />Commission meetings. <br />Mr. Iserson advised that the City was currently advertising for that position and that <br />Commissioner Kameny had offered to continue attending until the position was filled. <br />8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION <br />a. Consideration of proposed design changes to the approved building design for the Dahlin <br />Group building located at 5865 Owens Drive (Site 51 C, Hacienda Pazk). <br />Mr. Iserson summazized the staff report and advised that the Commission approved the design <br />review for Dahlin Group's new building in May, 2004.
