- • Car wash hours to be limited to 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 a.m. <br />to 9:00 p.m. on weekends. <br />• "Car Wash" signs and lights at the east and west ends of the building to be <br />removed and one sign installed in the middle of the north elevation. <br />• Car wash not to re-open until operator meets City noise standards of 60 dBA at <br />the property line when demonstrated to staff. <br />• Applicant to look into the installation of sensors or alarm system inside the <br />carwash for safety reasons so any unauthorized entry into the carwash area shall <br />alert the employee on duty. <br />• Applicant to install a courtesy sign at the entrance to the drive-through requesting <br />patrons to turn down their radios. <br />• Trash containers not to be rolled out of the restaurant to the outdoor garbage bin <br />after 10:00 p.m.; employee on duty to keep daily log of times garbage is taken <br />out. <br />• Applicant to be responsible for employees on duty to keep daily log of Pleasanton <br />Garbage Service (PGS) trash pick-up times; applicant to work with PGS <br />concerning pick-up times. <br />• The pedestrian pass-through is to be eliminated. <br />Discussion ensued regarding the installation of no parking signs along the neighborhood <br />streets. Lt. Eric Finn, Pleasanton Police Department, indicated that there were "No <br />Parking" signs along the street adjacent to the site of the carwash but none on the <br />- residential side. Commissioner Arkin indicated that if trucks and buses continue to park <br />along the residential streets even after the fence is installed, the Commission could look <br />at restricting parking for vehicles exceeding a certain length. Mr. Iserson stated that issue <br />could be referred to the Traffic Committee at that time. <br />Commissioner Fox moved to make the required use permit findings pertaining to <br />specific modifications to the use permit as spelled out in the earlier discussion and to <br />adopt a resolution modifying PCUP-61, subject to the conditions of approval of the <br />staff report as modified by the above straw-vote. <br />Commissioner Arkin seconded the motion. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Arkin, Fox, and Sullivan. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Kameny, Maas, and Roberts. <br />Resolution No. PC-2004-46 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES July 28, 2004 Page 10 of 19 <br />
