- Commissioner Sullivan noted that it was refreshing to hear the applicant voluntarily <br />move towazd green building certification. <br />James Paxson, 4473 Willow Road, Suite 105, noted that their LEED-certified lead <br />architect stated that this design was the best example of adaptive reuse of buildings in the <br />park and that he hoped it would set a precedent for other opportunities as well. He <br />supported the applicant's design and was happy that the Dahlin Group would move into <br />Hacienda Business Park. He noted that the TSM program should be verifiable and <br />auditable and believed that staff s conditions would be effective. <br />In response to an inquiry by Chairperson Roberts, Mr. Paxson believed that irregular and <br />verifiable audits were worth examining. <br />In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Arkin, Mr. Paxson noted that Hacienda <br />tentatively planned to present the residential and mixed-use plans in mid-June. <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br />Commissioner Arkin moved to approve PUD-81-30-42D-1M as conditioned in the <br />staff report with the deletion of Condition No. 17 and the addition of the two <br />conditions detailed in the staff memorandum. <br />Commissioner Roberts seconded the motion. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Arkin, Maas, Roberts, and Sullivan. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Fox and Kameny. <br />Resolution No. PC-2004-30 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br />The Planning Commission recessed for a break at 7:58 p.m. <br />Chairperson Roberts reconvened the meeting at 8:02 p.m. <br />b. He <br />noted that there would be no outside storage, with the exception of the company vehicles <br />in the parking area on the west side of the building.
