- they had a nearly complete response to the transportation survey and added that she <br />would be the leader of a traffic task force to educate parents on maintaining a <br />traffic-neutral use. She noted that the school has worked very closely with Planning staff <br />and that they were highly motivated to meet staff s requirements. <br />Ravi Cherukuri, 8614 White Oak Court, spoke in support of this item and noted that his <br />two children attend Carden West. He noted that the safety regulations would be followed <br />by the parents and that they were committed to working with the City. <br />Anne Campbell-Baker, Vice President of Carden West, 52 Gold Creek Court, detailed the <br />history of the school's cooperation with City staff. She noted that they were committed <br />to making the new location an excellent school for the children and an excellent <br />neighbor. <br />Anurag Kaushik, 5020 Haven Place, #219, Dublin, noted that his son attends Carden <br />West and spoke in support of this item. He noted that he was committed to using the bus <br />for his child's transportation. <br />Bob Krakauer, 7851 Perry Lane, noted that he was on the Board of Directors for Cazden <br />West and that the pazents in the present location supported the relocation of the school. <br />He added that the traffic on Black Avenue would be relieved greatly. He hoped that the <br />placement of a private school with traffic measures would become a model for other <br />___ schools throughout the state and country. <br />Stephanie Baxter noted that she was a first grade teacher at Carden West School and <br />expressed the teaching staff's total commitment to the school. She noted that the small <br />class sizes created afamily-type atmosphere in the school. She noted that the new <br />facility would not only allow them to have larger classrooms, but also specific rooms for <br />art, music, and foreign language studies. <br />Harinder Grewal, 1666 Whispering Oaks Way, submitted a speaker slip but was not in <br />attendance to speak. <br />Joanne Rauch, 3023 Crestablanca Drive, spoke in support of this item and noted that she <br />was a teacher whose grandchildren also attend Cazden West. She noted that this private <br />school was not affiliated with a church and had a very diverse student population. <br />Elena Crandell, 3785 Hobstone Place, spoke in support of this item and would like her <br />three children to attend Cazden West. She noted that the size of the classrooms were a <br />vast improvement over those offered by the public schools. <br />Nikki McCrrath, 205 Pleasant Valley Court, spoke in support of this item and added that <br />she assisted during the morning drop-off activities.
