Section 5.02: The name of the refuse collector, together with his address and. telephone number, and truck number, shall appear on the side of the trucks in letters not smaller than six inches high. Section 6.00, DISPOSAL OF REFUSE. Section 6.01: The refuse collector shall dispose of all refuse outside of the city limits of the Town of Pleasanton by fill anc~ cover method in a place and manner that shall not be a nuisance to the inhabitants nearby, or objectionable in any way to the City Council. The '!~lace and manner of such disposal .~clust also have the approval of the County Health Officer and t]~e State Board of Health. Section 6.02: Garbage may be fed to chickens and animals on the premises where such garbage is produced, provided that said premises are always kept in a sanitary condition to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works of the Town of Pleasanton or his duly authorized represent~tive, and provided further that the keeping and feeding of such chickens and animals shall at all times co~,form to the ordinances and regulations governing the same now in force in the Town of Pleasanton, or which may hereafter be enacted or Dromulgated~ i~roFided further, however, that no swine shall be~ kept or main- rained within the limits of the Town of Pleasanton. Section 6.03: All refuse once collected shall become the ?property of the refuse collector to dispose of as he sees fit unless otherwise specifically stHted in a written agreement between the refuse collector and the City Council of the Town of Pleasanton, provided the manner of disposal does not conflict ~rith any of the _provisions of this ordinance. Section 7.00. RATES. Section 7.01: A charge shall be collected by the refuse collector from each and every residential unit and each and every hotel, apartment house, rooming house, motel or auto court where kitchen facilities are not provided, and each and every premise occupied for business, commercial or industrial uses shall have refuse service as herein specified, and a charge shall be collected as per schedule of rates hereinafter provided, ~ithin the corOorate limits of the Town of Pleasanton for services rendered under this ordinance, except as otherwise provided herein, Section 2.02: Such charges are for the collection and removal of refuse accumulated by the normal use of premises s~ecified in section 7,01 and shall not be construed as .~reventing the Town of Pleasanton from imposing reasonable extra charges for the collection and removing of extra mounts of garbage or other refuse, and when not otherwise mutually ag'reed upon by the refuse collector and the occupant of premises the charges si'~all be as herein fixed, Section 7.03: For the collection, removal and disposal of all refuse, there shall be a flat monthly c/xarge based on 'thirty (30) gallons refuse in one container per collection as follows: 0x-xe (1) collection per ~,reek, $1.00 per month T~o (2) collect~;-ons per week, $1.80 per month T?~ree (3) collections per ~eek, $2.70 per ~nonth Six (6) collections per ~veek, $5.40 per month. -4-
