<br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC 96-80 was entered making the POO fmdings and recommending approval <br />of Case PUD-96.15, as motioned. <br /> <br />f. <br /> <br />Determination that the abandonment of Baker Drive is in conformance with the General <br /> <br />Plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson presented the staff report on the abandonment of Baker Drive within the Hacienda <br />Business Park. The PeopleSoft Company is proposing to acquire properties surrounding Baker Drive <br />and Prudential is seeking a minor modification to the Hacienda Business Park PUD to remove Baker <br />Drive and reconfiguring the lots in the area. The City Council will soon consider the minor <br />modification. The Planning Commission must make a determination of consistency with the General <br />Plan. <br /> <br />Staff has analyzed the relevant traffic circulation policies of the General Plan, and they have found <br />the pertinent policies would still be met with the abandonment of Baker Drive. The traffic in the <br />area would still fall within LOS A or B. There would be minimal impact On the adjacent land uses. <br />There have been no responses from the notification to surrounding property owners. The utilities <br />within Baker Drive would become privately owned by PeopleSoft. Staff recommends approval of <br />fmding that the elimination of Baker Drive is in conformance with the General Plan. <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk inquired who is responsible of repair of the utilities in the easement located <br />in Baker Drive. Staff stated it would be the responsibility of the property owner. Staff further <br />advised that the utilities are separated from the utilities of the surrounding properties. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />Mark Sweeney, 4309 Hacienda Drive, #550, represented Prudential on this application.
