Zoning for <br />the property is Public and Institutional District. <br /> <br />Continued to June 12, 1996. <br /> <br /> <br />lk Draft Environmental Imnact Renort for the Stoneridee Drive Snecific Plan Amendment <br />(SPA-95-0IlPUD-96-02), Kaufman and Broad South Bav, Inc. <br />Public Hearing to receive oral and/or written comments on the Draft EIR prepared for the 128- <br />acre site located to the west and south of the EI Charro Road/Interstate 580 interchange in an <br />unincorporated area of Alameda County. An application has been filed to amend the existing <br />Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan to increase the amount of residential development by 45 acres <br />(311 units), decrease the amount of commercial service/light industrial development to about <br />40 acres (693,000 square feet maximum of building area), and increase the size of the <br />community park from 17 acres to approximately 33 acres. A development plan application <br />(PUD-96-02) also has been filed. This hearing is for the Draft EIR only. <br /> <br />Ms. Watt presented the staff report on the supplemental draft environmental impact report for a <br />proposed amendment to the Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan. This meeting is to accept public <br />testimony on the supplemental EIR prepared on the proposed amendment to the Plan. Ms. Watt <br />provided an overview of the original acceptance of the Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan in 1989. The <br />only remaining undeveloped land left in the SDSP is the subject site, known as Staples Ranch. <br />.
