Commissioner Wright feels the design is nice and the architects have done a good job. lIe feels they have done a good job in mitigating potential parking problems and he likes the idea of the garages available in an apartment complex. He would like to change Condition 79 to explore how to have at least two car wash areas. Commissioner Wright would also like to change Condition 34 construction hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Chairman Lutz feels there should be some constraints because this is starting to become a residential area. Commissioner McGuirk supports the two car wash areas, but not the change in construction hours. Commissioner Barker proposed giving construction an early start because of the added traffic congestion at 8 a.m. Commissioner Hovingh motioned, seconded by Commissioner Wright, rmding the proposed development plan is consistent with the General Plan and making the PUD rmdings for the proposed development plan as listed in the staff report. Commissioner Hovingh motioned, seconded by Commissioner Wright, recommending to the City Council approval of Case PUD-81-30-59D for PUD rezoning and development plan approval, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit B, with the following modifications: Condition 79: Modified that car wash areas be provided subject to staff approval, attempting to locate one at either end of the project. Condition 21: Delete. Condition 55: Delete "from Lot 60" and add "to this project."
