<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright feels the design is nice and the architects have done a good job. lIe feels <br />they have done a good job in mitigating potential parking problems and he likes the idea of the <br />garages available in an apartment complex. He would like to change Condition 79 to explore <br />how to have at least two car wash areas. Commissioner Wright would also like to change <br />Condition 34 construction hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Chairman Lutz feels there should be <br />some constraints because this is starting to become a residential area. <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk supports the two car wash areas, but not the change in construction <br />hours. <br /> <br />Commissioner Barker proposed giving construction an early start because of the added traffic <br />congestion at 8 a.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh motioned, seconded by Commissioner Wright, rmding the proposed <br />development plan is consistent with the General Plan and making the PUD rmdings for the <br />proposed development plan as listed in the staff report. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Hovingh, McGuirk, Wright, and Chairman Lutz <br />Commissioner Barker <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-96-10 was entered rmding that the proposed development plan is <br />consistent with the General Plan and making the PUD fmdings for the proposed <br />development plan, as motioned. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh motioned, seconded by Commissioner Wright, recommending to the <br />City Council approval of Case PUD-81-30-59D for PUD rezoning and development plan <br />approval, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit B, with the following modifications: <br /> <br />Condition 79: <br /> <br />Modified that car wash areas be provided subject to staff <br />approval, attempting to locate one at either end of the project. <br /> <br />Condition 21: <br /> <br />Delete. <br /> <br />Condition 55: <br /> <br />Delete "from Lot 60" and add "to this project." <br /> <br />Condition 16d: <br /> <br />Add: A larger percentage of evergreen tree species be added to <br />the plant pallet, especially along Owens Drive. <br /> <br />P1anning Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />February 14, 1996 <br />
