Zoning for the property is PUD-C <br />(Planned Unit Development - Commercial) District. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson presented the staff report for a conditional use permit to operate a computer <br />amusement business located at 1991 Santa Rita Rd., Suite E. The applicants propose that <br />patrons pay to use computers to play games with other users, desk top publishing, and <br />logging onto the Internet or the World Wide Web. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson described the project highlighting that the patrons would use only the software <br />installed on the computers and a "SurfWatch" software would be installed to prevent access <br />to adult material. There will be a small amount of computer-based retail sales. The business <br />would be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to midnight <br />Friday and Saturday.
