Commissioners Wright and Dove agree that
a single-story home should be placed on Lot 13; however, they are not in support of
conditioning the developer to have a single-story home on Lot 12. Commissioner Wright
supported single-story homes on Lots 41 and 42, but not on Lot 43. Commissioner Dove did
not support single-story homes on Lots 41, 42, or 43.

.

A motion was made by Commissioner Kumaran, seconded by Chair Cooper, to support
staff's recommendation requiring the developer to build single-story homes on Lots 12, 13,
41, and 43.

ROLL CALL VOTE

AYES:
NOES:
ABSENT:
ABSTAIN:

Commissioners Barker, Lutz and Kumaran, and Chair Cooper
Commissioner Wright
None
None

With regard to the finance plan, Commissioner Barker stated that although the developer would
be bringing an amenity to the City, they have to build the same size road anyway, and she,
therefore, feels the developer should bear the full cost.

Commissioner Wright noted that Greenbriar would like to be reimbursed for a fair amount by
any future developers in the area and agrees that sharing the cost is appropriate. Chair Cooper
also agrees that the cost should be shared.

Commissioners Kumaran, Lutz, and Dove also agreed that the developer should pay the full
cost of the road.

.

Planning Commission

December 10, 1997

Page 10
