The Commission declined to vote <br />on the Fairgrounds issue separately. <br /> <br />L MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Chair Cooper asked Mr. Iserson why the Dublin and San Ramon services districts can proceed <br />with building the treatment plant without a hearing before the City when they had to appear <br />before the Planning Commission to request pennission to move their temporary building. Mr. <br />Iserson stated that the state law gives them the option of appearing before the Commission. He <br />assumes that they felt the modular issue was significant enough to seek approval for, but they <br />apparently decided not to appear before the Commission regarding the clean water revival <br />construction project. The Commission had a brief question and answer session regarding this <br />issue. <br /> <br />Commissioner Barker reminded the Commission that at last month's meeting she raised the issue <br />relating to the ban of organized sports in neighborhood parks. She stated that organized sports <br />now include four-year-old children and she, therefore, would like to see the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission review that issue again.
