<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />beyond 5 :00 p.m. would create adverse impacts on the adjacent properties, but that staff could support <br />an extension to the hours of operation for interior work only. He noted that Exhibit "B" of the staff <br />report includes a condition for this modification. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />Mr. Antonio Silva, represented the application. He noted that he is currently working on the two-unit <br />apartment building at the rear of the site and that it is framed and needs siding. He stated that due <br />to his regular work schedule he cannot get to the site to begin work until 3:00 p.m. <br /> <br />In response to a question from Chair Cooper, Mr. Silva advised that he cannot hire help to work <br />during the day, and that he works alone. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the current status of the project construction and whether staff's <br />recommended modification of hours would assist the applicant in completing the project. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED <br /> <br />Commissioner Lutz noted support to modify the hours as suggested by staff. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright stated that he concurs with Commissioner Lutz. He noted that these <br />construction hours were conditioned because the project is in a residential neighborhood. He <br />commented that Mr. Silva has two hours a day and all day Saturday to work on the construction, and <br />it sounds as if he is far enough along to complete the exterior work before the rainy season. He <br />stated that he supports staff's recommendation. <br /> <br />Commissioner Barker stated that she supports staff's recommendation. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kumaran noted that what staff is suggesting should help Mr. Silva complete the <br />proj ect. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wright, seconded by Commissioner Lutz, approving the <br />modification to the conditions of approval for Case Z-9S-176, subject to Exhibit "B." <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Barker, Kumaran, Lutz, and Wright, and Chair Cooper <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC 97-78 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />September 10, 1997 <br />
