UP-97-51. Silroature ProDerties <br />Application for a conditional use permit to place surplus fill material generated from the <br />Vineyard S-curve realignment project on approximately 3-112 acres of a 23-acre site located at <br />2512 Vineyard Avenue (former Pleasanton Garbage Service Site). Zoning for the property is <br />PUD-RDILDR (Planned Unit Development-Rural Density ResidentiallLow Density Residential) <br />District. <br /> <br />Ms. Watt presented the staff report describing the proposed plan for placing surplus fill material from <br />the realignment of the Vineyard S-curve on the former Pleasanton Garbage Service landfill site, and <br />recommending approval of Case UP-97-51, subject to the conditions of the staff report. Ms. Watt <br />noted that concerns have been expressed by adjacent neighbors regarding the proposal. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />Mark Stice, Signature Properties, 6612 Owens Drive, represented the application. He advised that the <br />applicant is in full agreement with the staff report. <br /> <br />Commissioner Cooper stated that he had spoken previously with the applicant. He inquired as to what <br />impacts a major rain storm would have on the fill site. <br /> <br />Mr. Stice described the storm inlet which is designed to accept drainage and noted that there is <br />positive drainage from the north to Vineyard Avenue. <br /> <br />Commissioner Cooper asked about the slope to adjacent properties.
