UP-97-32. Frances BlasQue <br />Application for a conditional use permit to operate a massage therapy business located at 1811 <br />Santa Rita, Suite 106. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C <br />(Commercial) District. <br /> <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of Case UP-97-32, subject to the <br />conditions of the staff report. Mr. Swift noted that while the applicant has been working as a <br />massage therapist in the same building since 1991, she is required to obtain a conditional use permit <br />in that she has relocated to a different suite and is operating her own business. Mr. Swift advised <br />that staff is currently working on the Code amendment to allow conditional use permits for massage <br />therapists to be approved at the staff level. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />Frances Blasque, 1811 Santa Rita Road, Suite 106, stated that she has read the staff report and is <br />in agreement with the conditions of approval.
