The purpose of the conditional use permit is to allow the proper integration into the community of uses which may be suitable only in specific locations in a zoning dis= trict or only if such uses are designed or laid out in the site in a particular manner. In authorizing a conditional use, the Co~nission may impose such requirements and conditions with respect to location, construction, maintenance and operation, in addition to those expressly stipulated in this ordinance for the particular use, as they may deem necessary for the protection of adjacent properties and the public interest. 19.901 Application shall be made by the property owner or certi- fied agent thereof to the Planning Commission on a form prescribed for this purpose by the City of Pleasanton. Conditional use permits, revocable conditional or valid for a term period may be issued for any of the uses or purposes for which such permits are required or permitted by the terms of this ordinance. 19.902 Accompanying maps and drawings shall be filed as necessary. 19.903 If the Planning Commission determines that the proposed struc- ture or building use conforms to the requirements and the intent of this ordinance, the Pleasanton General Plan, that any additional conditions stipulated by the ~ssion as deemed necessary in the public interest have been met, and that such use will not under the circumstances of the particular case constitute a nuisance or be detrimental to the public welfare of the community, the Commission shall issue a conditional use permit. 19.904 ~FO11owing the issuance of a conditional use permit by the Planning Commission, the city staff shall ensure that development is undertaken and completed in compliance with said permit. 19.1000 3ariances.
