17.618 Retail sales for guests only: ConnnuniCy buildings, private clubs, lodges, social or recreational establishments may engage in retail sales for guests only, provided that: 1. There shall be no external evidence of connercial activity, nor any access to space used for commercial activity other than from within the building. 2. Existing or potential residential development shall be protected from excessive traffic or noise or other circumstances. 17.619 A hospital, church, oCher religious or elemosynary institution shall be located on a major street on a minimum parcel of 1 acre, and shall maintain a 10 foot wide landscaped strip or solid 6 foot fence on all prop- erty lines abuttin~ R-Districts. 17.620 Fertilizer Plants and Yards shall be no closer than 200 feet from any residential district, shall have automobile parking and truck loading area and ingress and egress to minimize traffic hazard and congestion. Odor, dust, noise and drainage shall not constitute a nuisance to surrounding properties. 17.621 Shooting Clubs. A shooting club shall not be located with- in ~ mile of any developed residential, commercial or industrial area, or place of public assembly. A conditional use permit will be granted for 1 year only, renewable annually for a period of I year, provided above re- quirements are met. 17.622 A circus or carnival involving temporary assemblages of over 300 people and their automobiles may only be permitted in any district pro- vided that such establishments may not be located on a street developed with residences within 500 feet of such residences. 17.623 Amusement center, bowling alley, dance hall and similar places of amusement shall provide parking with ingress and egress to minimize trdfic congestion, shall not be less than 20 feet from any property lines and ~ha11 provide a minimum 6 foot solid board fence or masonry wall separating the entire area from abutting residential property. Adequate controls or measures shall prevent offensive noise and vibration. 17.624 Nursery school, day care center for more than 5 children shall maintain a minimum 6 foot high solid board fence around any play area abutting a residential district. A nursery school shall be located only on a minimum 7,500 square foot lot and shall not develop excessive traffic on local residential streets. 17,625 Temporary tract office in any district shall be located on the property to which it is appurtenant and shall be limited to a six month period, subject to extension on request.
