17.611 Drive-in theatres shall be located only on major or secondary thoroughfares and shall have ingress and egress minimizing traffic conges- tion. They shall be located at least 500 feet distant from an R-District or existing dwelling, so screened that any noise and light shall not disturb residents or prospective residents. 17.612 Colf Driving Ranges shall be located on major or secondary thoroughfares. Lights shall be directed and shielded to protect developed residential property. The golf driving platform shall be not less than 200 feet from any adjacent R-District or existing dwelling. 17.613 Cemetery, crematory, mausoleum, columbarium shall have en- trance on a major street with ingress and egress minimizing traffic con- gestion, shall have required off-street parking space, and shall have a minimum 6 foot high wall or 6 foot high evergreen hedge, or provide 20 feet of permanently maintained planting strip on all property lines abut- ring any R-District or residential street. 17.614 Hellports or landing strips for aircraft shall be located no closer than 600 feet from any dwelling. Runways shall not direct aircraft over dwellings, and shall be located so that air or land traffic shall not constitute a nuisance to neighboring uses. Adequate controls shall prevent offensive dust, noise, vibrations or bright lights. All air fields shall comply with standards of the Federal Aeronautics Authority for the particular class of field. 17.615 C~unity buildin~, social halls, lodges, fraternal organi- zations and clubs in R-Districts. 1. All buildings must be a minimum of 20 feet from the side lot lines and 50 feet from the rear lot line. 2. Commercial activity shall not be visible from outside the building. 3. Such use must be located on a major or secondary thorough- fare, or provide access without traffic hazards on local residen- tial streets. 17,616 Private stables and paddocks shall be located on the rear half of the lot and not closer than 20 feet to any property line, nor closer than 40 feet from any dwelling on the same or adjoining property. The minimum lot area upon which a horse may be kept is I acre and 2 horses may be kept on such area. One additional horse my be kept for each 20,000 square feet over one acre. 17.617 Nursing homes shall meet the same space requirements set for comity buildings and social halls.
