(d) 'ihe remedies herein shall be cumulative.andin addition to any or all <br /> other remedies available to the City for the collection of said charges. <br /> <br /> Section 8. SE~gERAP[D DRAR~AGESERVICE FUND: A fund to be kno~m as the <br /> Sewer and Drainage Service Fund is hereby established. All monies received <br /> from the collection of the charges~ established by this ordinance shall be <br /> deposited with the City Treasurer, who shall deposit all of said monies in <br /> the "Sewer and Drainage Service Fund". The monies in this fund shall be used <br /> only for the payment of bond redemption and interest charges for sewer facilities <br /> and for stonu drainage facilities authorized by Ordinance No. 287 and for <br /> <br /> other capital expenditures for sewer facilities of the City. <br /> Section 9. SCREENING OR PRETREATMENT: <br /> <br /> (a) In industrial or heavy commercial uses and upon a survey by the <br /> <br /> City Engineer, the City may adjust charges or establish them according to such <br /> survey. Any occupant who may disagree with the City Engineer's determination~ <br /> may, at his own. expense, install private measuring devices, according to <br /> specifications approved by the City Engineer. <br /> <br /> (b) In those cases, whereother than domestic sewage is being deposited <br /> <br /> in the sewage system, the City Engineer may require installation of a suitable <br /> screening and pre-treatment device on the occupants' premises to prepare the <br /> waste so that the City treatment Plant can adequately treat the wastes with <br /> its designed nonmal treatment process. <br /> <br /> (c) Industrial wastes must be screened through the equivalent of a screen <br /> of 2~mesh per lineal inches in both directions. All above-mentioned equipment <br /> shall be installed at the sole expense of the occupants in accordance with <br /> specifications approved by the City Engineer. <br /> <br /> (d) The City Engineer, or his representative, shall have the right at <br /> <br /> all reasonable times to check the operation of the screening mechanism, the <br /> operation of the measuring and recording devices, and make records of the <br /> readings. <br /> <br />(e) The occupant shall, at its own expense, remove and dispose of all <br />~waste material retained upon the screens or not approved for disposal in the <br />City sewage and treatment system. <br /> <br /> Section 9- STORM DRAINAEE: No storm, surface or ground water, or other <br /> <br /> -3- <br /> <br /> <br />
