<br />Resolution No. PC-96-60 <br />Page II <br />30. Prior to occupancy, the landscape architect shall certify in writing to the Planning Direc- <br />tor that the landscaping has been installed in accordance with the approved landscape and <br />irrigation plans with respect to size, number, and species of plants and overall design con- <br />cept. <br /> <br />31. The developer shall adjust the sprinkler heads to redirect the water away from the monu- <br />ment sign while ensuring complete irrigation coverage of the landscaping around the <br />sign. All landscaping around the sign shall be restored after installation of the sign and <br />prior to final of the sign permit. <br /> <br />Fire and Police Department Requirements: <br /> <br />32. The development shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Chapter 20.24 <br />of the Pleasanton Municipal Code). <br /> <br />33. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of construction to final inspection. <br /> <br />34. Approval for the number, type and location of fire hydrants shall be subject to the ap- <br />proval of the Fire Chief and the Director of Building Inspection. <br /> <br />35. The developer shall ensure that fire protection facilities, including all surface driveways, <br />fire hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow shall be in- <br />stalled and serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. <br /> <br />36. All circulation driveways on the site, designated as fire apparatus access roads by the Fire <br />Chief, must be maintained in accordance with Section 10.201 of the Uniform Fire Code <br />and be accessible at all times from the start of construction until the project is completed. <br />If required by the Fire Chief, curbs shall be painted red and lettered "Fire Lane -- No <br />Parking" in white lettering according to the standards of the California Vehicle Code. <br /> <br />37. If required by the Police Department, the building shall be equipped with an alarm sys- <br />tem, the type to be approved by the Police Department and that this system shall be in- <br />stalled prior to occupancy ofthe building. <br /> <br />Hazardous Materials Use, Storage, and Waste Treatment: <br /> <br />38. The property or business owner shall submit a complete list of all hazardous and combus- <br />tible materials, including solids, liquids and gases, including biologics, to the Fire Chief <br />at least two (2) weeks prior to submitting the building permit plan set. The list shall in- <br />clude all materials with technical and common names, the maximum amounts to be <br />stored, the materials' Fire Code classification for the materials, whether the materials will <br />be stored or used in an open or closed environment, and the Material Safety Data Sheets <br />for all hazardous materials. <br />
