Resolution No. PC-96-36 Page 2 Because of the size limit on the secondary unit and the limit on the number of adults which could reside in the secondary unit, there will be little or no impact on the existing sewer and utility system. C. The proposed conditional use will comply with each ofthe applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance. The proposed secondary unit is located within the proposed single-family dwelling. The structure would remain in compliance with all applicable development standards. WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed use, as conditioned, will be compatible with the surrounding uses and properties. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section I. Section 2. Approves Case UP-96-15, the application of Neil and Patricia Nelson for a conditional use permit to establish a secondary unit within a proposed single-family home at 5206 Foothill Road, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. This resolution shall become effective 1 5 days after its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that time.
