all other equipment and materials necessary and is overseen by a supervisor
responsible for routing, quality control, and communication with City staff.
When herbicides are used, we follow best practices to minimize environmental
impact—implementing measures to reduce drift, runoff, and harm to non-target plants
and organisms. Detailed records of all spray activities, including dates, locations,
application methods, and materials used, are maintained and available upon request to
ensure transparency and regulatory compliance. Regular herbicide use will be
combined with manual weeding to ensure that parks, utilities, and streets are
maintained to specification.
PARKS
Our Director of Operations will provide a schedule for annual weed abatement activities
(see sample attached) in accordance with the Parks Maintenance Supervisor. We will
utilize a remote operated brush mower operated under the direction of our Supervisor.
This will enable a significant reduction in the total number of labor hours required to
perform the scope of work to specification. Additional detail and touch up work will be
performed by our crew utilizing weed eaters. For map book page 107, we will apply
pesticide on a quarterly basis or as needed to ensure the area remains weed free.
UTILITIES
Our Maintenance Supervisor will provide a weekly weed abatement schedule for
Utilities (see sample attached). We prepare our schedule to ensure that we visit each
map book page quarterly and coordinate a combination of pre-and post-emergent
herbicide applications to ensure that the areas are maintained weed free and to
specification. Regular monitoring, use of a remote operated brush mower, and
consistent application of herbicides will be used to maintain utilities to specification.
STREETS
Our Maintenance Supervisor will provide a weekly weed abatement schedule for Streets
(see sample attached). We will utilize a remote operated brush mower for the freeway
interchanges operated under the direction of our Supervisor. Additional garbage
collection and detail and touch up work will be performed by our crew utilizing weed
eaters. Our staffing plan is based on systematically cycling through all Streets areas on
a quarterly basis to perform weed control activities to specification. In addition, our
Supervisor monitors and provides as needed service to hot spots and City entry points.
We scheduled for a Pesticide Applicator Technician to spend a full day each week
excluding rainy days and inclement weather. We will utilize traffic control devices
including traffic cones, tow-behind arrow boards etc. to enhance traffic control measures
for all Streets weed abatement activities.
EXHIBIT B
Docusign Envelope ID: 2B88315C-9082-45D6-9658-94BC219C6718
