The final design ofthis new sign shall be subject to the review and approval by the Planning Director prior to the installation of the sign. 21.) At no time shall balloons, banners, pennants, or other attention-getting devices be utilized on the site except as allowed by Section 18.96.060K of the Zoning Ordinance for a maximum length of30 days after the commencement of business (grand opening). At no time shall spot lighting be used. Construction Practices 22.) All site improvements and house construction activities shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. All construction equipment must meet DMV noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. The applicant shall provide the City and residents with a local phone number for the developer which they may use to report and receive prompt action regarding violations to these construction conditions, i.e. working outside the permitted work hours, airborne dust, and other problems with the construction company. 23.) At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be removed from the site at the end of each work day. 24.) Portable toilets used during construction shall be kept as far as possible from existing residences and shall be emptied on a regular basis as necessary to prevent odor. 25.) Final inspection by the Planning Department is required prior to occupancy. 26.) The haul route for all materials to and from this development shall be approved by the City Engineer prior to the issuance of an encroachment permit. 27.) The developer shall submit a dust control plan or procedure as part of the improvement plans. The construction company shall actively water the site to the maximum extent feasible during grading activities to minimize the creation of dust caused by such activities. 28.) Any damage to existing street improvements during construction on the subject property shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at full expense to the developer. This shall include slurry seal, overlay, street reconstruction, or restriping if deemed warranted by the City Engineer.
