2) <br />c) Horticulture ; <br />d) The keeping of animals, as follows: <br />( 1) One swine per 2 ½ acres of land designated as Open Space <br />with a maximum of eight swine on lots with at least five <br />acres of Open Space ; <br />(2) One large fowl (goose , turkey) per acre of land designated <br />as Open Space with a total maximum of ten large fowl on <br />lots with at least five acres of Open Space ; <br />(3) Any combination of the following on lots with at least <br />1 ½ acres of land designated as Open Space ; <br />(a) Fifty small fowl (chickens , ducks, Guinea fowl ) or <br />rabbits per acre; or <br />(b) One head of cattle, horse , or donkey per 1 ½ acres ; <br />or <br />(c) One sheep or goat per ¾ acre; or <br />( d) Other potential farm animals subject to type and <br />quantity approval by the Planning Commission ; and <br />( 4) Limited keeping of farm animals to be approved by the <br />Planning Commission for the small Open Space areas of <br />Lots 1-5, 12 , 15 , 16, and 17 which are found by the <br />Planning Commission to not significantly impact <br />neighboring residences ; <br />e) Agricultural buildings and structures; <br />f) The continuance of agricultural uses employed within five years <br />prior to Specific Plan adoption; <br />g) Public and private water tank and pump station; <br />h) Public sewer pump station; and <br />i) Public trails. <br />Conditional Uses: <br />a) Winery and wine-tasting room ; <br />b) Stable , pen, or other similar facility for the keeping of farm <br />animals by community agricultural clubs; and <br />c) Park. <br />b. Open Space Development Standards <br />1) Proper management of Open Space areas is necessary to maintain the <br />quality of the existing natural environment as well as to reduce fire <br />hazards. A site-specific Open-Space Management Plan shall be prepared <br />and submitted by each developer of lots which contain Open Space land <br />as a part of the PUD development plan application . Plans shall address <br />agricultural operations , open space maintenance , and wildlife and <br />vegetation preservation needs. <br />44
