LEAD REMEDIATION: The applicant-submitted Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment <br />report by Ramboll US Consulting includes the following finding: “Results from soil <br />sampling conducted by Ramboll in September and October 2020 identified <br />concentrations of lead in shallow soil above regulatory screening criterion for residential <br />land use…” This finding identifies a Recognized Environmental Concern. Elevated lead <br />shall be remediated by the applicant according to governing regulations prior to any site <br />disturbance, with evidence of said remediation submitted to the City of Pleasanton. <br />(Address this condition prior to issuance of Building Permit for grading, demolition, or <br />Building Construction, whichever occurs first). Project Specific Condition. <br /> <br />52. CORROSIVE SOILS: According to the Geotechnical Study by Geo-Logic Associates, <br />collected soil samples have been classified as moderately corrosive. As such, all buried <br />iron, steel, cast iron, ductile iron, galvanized steel and dielectric coated street or iron shall <br />be properly protected against corrosion depending on the critical nature of the structure. <br />(Address this condition prior to plan approval). Project Specific Condition. <br /> <br />53. CREEK SETBACK: Site improvements that abut or are within close proximity to the top of <br />the creek bank at Arroyo del Valle are subject to Pleasanton Municipal Code <br />§9.14.090(B)(3) “Watercourse Protection” which reads, “Prohibited Acts.
