11 • Use of tobacco products or devices is prohibited within the facility. No smoking or vaping is allowed within the surrounding park or the parking lot • No selling, using, possessing, giving away, or being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs at any times while in the facility • No cell phones, Go Pros, or any other cameras allowed in the water and locker room. Pictures may not be taken at any time inside of the locker rooms • No person shall possess a weapon, air gun, bow and arrows, firecrackers, bombs, torpedoes, rockets or any other type of fireworks or pyrotechnics • No abusive, threatening, obscene, harassing, or insulting language or behavior towards staff or other participants • No engaging in any activity that is disruptive to participants or staff at any time • No engaging in any activity that causes damage to City property or equipment. LAP SWIM RULES: • Personal coaching is prohibited • Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool without stopping • No diving • Please be courteous and responsive if asked to move lanes by the lifeguards • Lane sharing and circle swimming is required if all lanes are full. If you are unwilling to share when asked, please leave the pool, and return when a lane is vacant o If there are 3 or more people in a lane, everyone in the lane must circle swim counterclockwise o The arriving swimmer should notify the current swimrner(s) in a lane of their presence, by sitting with their legs in the water or standing at the lane until the current swimmer is aware of the arriving swimmer o When resting on a wall, move to the corners of the lane to allow other swimmers room to turn easily o When passing another swimmer, wait until you reach the wall to avoid mid- lane collisions. Tap the foot of the swimmer in front of you to indicate that you wish to pass. The swimmer being passed should wait on the wall for the passing swimmer. WATERSLIDE RULES: • Patrons must be 48 inches tall, and able to ride the slide by themselves without assistance • Patrons must have beginner level swimming skills • Pregnant women and persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not go down the slide • Food or beverages are not allowed on the slide tower • Eyeglasses must be securely fixed to the patron with a head strap or held in hand • Jewelry or swimwear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, or metal ornamentation is not permitted • Patrons must wait for the lifeguard's start signal before beginning to go down the slide • Only 1 patron permitted on slide flume at a time • Do not run, dive, stand, kneel, rotate, or stop on the slide.
