10 Exhibit C Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center Pool Rules GENERAL SAFETY RULES: • No one is allowed in the pool area unless a lifeguard is on duty • Children under 10 years must be accompanied and closely supervised by a responsible adult (16 years or older) • Children ages 5 years and younger must be within arm's reach of a parent or guardian at all times • Be aware of pool depths at all times. Stay in water depth appropriate to your ability • No water wings/arm floats allowed. Life jackets must be US Coast Guard Approved • No diving in the shallow pools. Diving permitted only in diving well, only from the diving boards • No running. No shoving, pushing or general horseplay on decks • No jumping backwards into any pools • Do not call for help unless it's necessary • No prolonged underwater breath holding • The City of Pleasanton is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Do not bring valuables to the facility • Spectator fees apply to all who plan to stay within the facility • No children of the opposite gender over the age of 5 permitted in the respective locker rooms. GENERAL HEALTH RULES: • A swim diaper is required for all incontinent individuals, or those who are not toilet trained • Patrons are encouraged to shower before entering pools. No playing in the showers • Persons with diarrhea and persons who have had diarrhea within the prior 14 days shall not enter the pool water • Proper bathing attire is required, street clothes in place of a swimsuit is prohibited • Patrons with bandages, open wounds, sores, or infections will not be allowed into the pools • No spitting on the decks, in the water, or in the restrooms. Do not drink the pool water • No eating, drinking, or chewing gum inside the pools • No food or gum inside the locker rooms.
