City Council Minutes Page 4 of 6 March 19, 2024 <br />(CIP No. 24173) to the Near-Term Water Improvement (CIP No. 24171). <br />•Increase expenditure budget appropriation for the Near-Term Water <br />Improvement Project (CIP No. 24171) by $9,654,538. <br />•Increase revenue budget appropriation for the Near-Term Water <br />Improvement Project (CIP No. 24171) by $100,000. <br />•Transfer $5,000,000 from the Water Operating Fund (Fund 420) to the <br />Water Replacement CIP Fund (Fund 421). <br />8.Approve first amendment to the purchase order with Thatcher Company of <br />California, Inc., increasing the not-to-exceed amount from $95,000 to $110,000 for <br />water treatment chemicals <br />Recommendation: Authorize the City Manager to amend the annual recurring <br />Purchase Order with Thatcher by increasing the not-to-exceed amount by $15,000 <br />from $95,000 to $110,000 for FY 2023/24 for water treatment chemicals. <br />9.Approve second amendment to agreement with Woodard & Curran, Inc. for an <br />increase of $282,950 for a total not-to-exceed amount of $792,177 and to extend <br />the term through FY 2024/25 for development of the Sewer Collection System <br />Hydraulic Model, Capacity Evaluation and Related Studies, Sewer Infrastructure <br />Condition Assessments, and development of the 10-year Capital Improvement <br />Program (CIP) for Sewer and approve budget amendments in the Sewer <br />Replacement Fund <br />Recommendation: <br />1.Approve the second amendment and authorize the City Manager to execute <br />the amendment to the agreement with Woodard & Curran, Inc.by an <br />increase of $282,950, to an amount not-to-exceed $792,177 for <br />development of a hydraulic model, capacity evaluation, and related studies, <br />sewer infrastructure condition assessments, and development of the 10-year <br />Capital Improvement Program for Sewer and extend the term through FY <br />2024/25. <br />2.Approve budget amendments in the Sewer Replacement Fund (Fund 431), <br />transferring $92,177 from the Sewer System Management Plan Project (CIP <br />No. 22289) to the Sewer Capacity Evaluation Project (CIP No. 16245). <br />10.Receive an update on Water System Activities <br />Recommendation: Receive an update on Water System Activities. <br />11.Continued from March 5, 2024 - Review of Pavement Management report <br />completed by AMS Consulting for the bi-annual evaluation/reclassification of Street <br />Surfaces Project, CIP No. 21521 <br />Recommendation: Review the Pavement Management Report completed by AMS <br />Page 42 of 448
