5
Service Centers Nationwide

To follow a true IPM program, we service all customers following Pestmaster’s 7 Steps of IPM:

Step 1. Inspection

It is the action of looking for pest presence and conducive conditions for pest entrance, and
proliferation. It is the cornerstone of an effective IPM program.

Inspections are performed verbally by interviewing the client regarding pest activity and practices
that can favor pest entrance and/or proliferation. They are also conducted visually on every service
to determine if management methods are required to regain control.
During the inspection, Pest Prevention Specialists take notes, including answers to these questions:

Is the trash area close to the building, or not kept clean and secured?
Are the bathrooms cleaned and all trash emptied at least daily? Are there any plumbing
leaks?
Is there clutter anywhere in the offices, bedrooms, and storage spaces that could be a
harborage point?
Are all the electrical outlets and plumbing boxes clean and sealed in the building?
If there are loading docks, are there harborage issues? (Items such as cardboard boxes,
trash, blown leaves, and materials which will feed or house a pest.)

DocuSign Envelope ID: 16D1C412-7260-4260-8A87-C870C0BEE374
