Finds that the Consistency Checklist for Option 1 and Option 2 are each in <br />conformance with the analysis and conclusions of the Pleasanton General Plan 2005- <br />2025 FEIR and both qualify for an exemption from additional environmental review <br />under CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 because Option 1 and Option 2 are each <br />consistent with the development density and land use characteristics established by the <br />City as analyzed by the Pleasanton General Plan 2005 -2025 (State Clearinghouse No. <br />2005122139). <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Findings for P23-0177. The Planning Commission finds that Option 1 and Option 2 <br />would each conform to all applicable objective standards of the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Code, Zoning Ordinance and other adopted standards, with the exception of items for <br />which a concession or waivers have been requested by the applicant and granted in <br />accordance with provisions of California Density Bonus law at Cal. Government Code <br />§65915. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission also finds that Option 1 and Option 2 were each reviewed <br />based on the nine criteria as required by Section 18.20.030 of the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Code which includes the following, to the extent the above-noted objective standards of <br />the PMC bear a relationship to these criteria: <br /> <br />1. Preservation of the natural beauty of the city and the project site's relationship <br />to it; <br />2. Appropriate relationship of the proposed buildings within Option1 and Option <br />2 to its site, including transition with streetscape, public views of the buildings, <br />and scale of buildings within its site and adjoining buildings; <br />3. Appropriate relationship of the proposed buildings within Option 1 and Option <br />2 and its site to adjoining areas, including compatibility of architectural styles, <br />harmony in adjoining buildings, attractive landscape transitions, and <br />consistency with neighborhood character; <br />4. Preservation of views enjoyed by residents, workers within the city, and <br />passersby through the community; <br />5. Landscaping designed to enhance architectural features, strengthen vistas, <br />provide shade, and conform to established streetscape; <br />6. Relationship of exterior lighting to its surroundings and to the buildings within <br />Option 1 and Option 2 and adjoining landscape; <br />7.
