<br />4.6 Secondary User: An organization whose sport has been classified as not “In Season” will be
<br />given second priority access to facilities during their non-season. A secondary user may only
<br />reserve a facility, after all priority user requests have been processed.
<br />
<br />Note: Each league will determine its own primary season.
<br />
<br />5.0 CLASSIFICATIONS OF USER GROUPS:
<br />
<br />Facility Use Permits will be approved on the basis of priority as follows:
<br />
<br />Group A: City sponsored or co-sponsored activities and/or events, i.e., Adult Softball,
<br />Contract Classes, etc…
<br />
<br />Group B: All agencies with reciprocal agreements with the City, i.e., PUSD.
<br />
<br />Group C: Co-Sponsored Athletic Organizations – Local non-profit athletic organizations
<br />that have no less than 75% of the participants as City residents. Individual teams
<br />with less than 60% residents must be approved by the City in advance. Examples:
<br />Pleasanton Little League(s), BUSC, RAGE, Pleasanton Boy’s & Girl’s Lacrosse,
<br />Pleasanton Junior Football League, Pleasanton Rugby, Pleasanton Adult Sunday
<br />Soccer, Girl’s Softball.

<br />Group D: Co-Sponsored Organizations – Local non-profit organizations that have no less
<br />than 75% of the members as City residents, i.e., Pleasanton Rotary, Pleasanton 4-
<br />H Club, Pleasanton Lion’s Club, PDA, Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, etc…
<br />
<br />Group E: Non-profit athletic organizations who are not affiliated with a national sports
<br />organization, and whose participation is selected by their ability and/or play
<br />competitively against similar teams from other jurisdictional areas (i.e.,
<br />Independent Travel Teams). In order to qualify under the Group E classification,
<br />it is required that team rosters be comprised of no less than 75% of the
<br />participants as City residents, and that the Head Coach/Manager must also be a
<br />City resident.
<br />
<br />Group F: City residents wishing to use facilities for private, social, or business functions,
<br />i.e., Mr. Joe Pleasanton, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA.
<br />
<br />Group G: Non-resident individuals and/or Non-resident, non-profit organizations, i.e.,
<br />Dublin Rotary, San Ramon Women’s Club, Ms. Josephine Smith from Livermore.
<br />
<br />Group H: City of Pleasanton based commercial businesses and/or organizations that are
<br />profit making, i.e., Safeway, Clorox, etc…
<br />
<br />Group I: Non-City of Pleasanton based commercial businesses and/or organizations that
<br />are profit making, i.e., Google, Facebook, Southwest Airlines, Princess Cruises,
<br />etc.
<br />
<br />In order to qualify for resident classifications, organizations must submit rosters of their current season.
<br />
