Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with the Department of <br />Veterans Affairs in their capacity as Joint Executive Director of the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire <br />Department to provide emergency and fire protection services to the Livermore Veterans Affairs <br />Medical Center and authorizing the City Manager to enter into a revenue sharing agreement with <br />the City of Livermore <br />Recommendation: Waive the full reading and adopt Resolution No. 23-1417 authorizing the City <br />Manager to execute an agreement with the Department of Veterans Affairs in his capacity as Joint <br />Executive Director of the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department to provide emergency and fire <br />protection services to the Livermore Veterans Affairs Medical Center; and authorizing the City <br />Manager to enter into a Revenue Sharing Agreement with the City of Livermore for fire services <br />provided to the Livermore Veterans Affairs Medical Center. <br />Human Resources <br />6. Adopt a resolution approving the proposed memorandum of understanding between the City of <br />Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Officers’ Association with term ending May 31, 2026 <br />Recommendation: Waive the full reading and adopt Resolution No. 23-1418 approving the <br />tentative agreement negotiated between the City and the PPOA with a term ending May 31, 2026. <br />Police <br />7. Adopt a resolution to accept a Traffic Records Improvement Project Grant for $39,100 from the <br />State of California Office of Traffic Safety <br />Recommendation: Waive the full reading and adopt Resolution No. 23-1419 accepting the Traffic <br />Records Improvement Project grant award for $39,100 from the State of California OTS and <br />authorize the City Manager to execute all documents, and appropriate $39,100 to project 24802 in <br />the Operations Grant Fund in Fiscal Year 2023/24. <br />8. Adopt a resolution to accept an Officer Wellness and Mental Health Grant Program award from <br />the California Board of State and Community Corrections in the amount of $54,762 <br />Recommendation: Waive the full reading and adopt Resolution No. 23-1420 accepting an Officer <br />Wellness and Mental Health Grant Program award from the California Board of State and <br />Community Corrections in the amount of $54,762 <br />9. Adopt a resolution to accept a Selective Traffic Enforcement Program Grant award of $50,000 <br />from the State of California Office of Traffic Safety <br />Recommendation: Waive the full reading and adopt Resolution No. 23-1421 accepting a <br />Selective Traffic Enforcement Program Grant award of $50,000 from the State of California Office <br />of Traffic Safety <br />Public Works <br />10.
