Item #3 <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />October 3, 2023 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Brown called the meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. from the Remillard <br />Conference Room at the Operations Services Center located at 3333 Busch Road. <br />Councilmember Nibert provided opening remarks. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Brown <br />Absent: None <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />Vice Mayor Balch continued item 18 to a future meeting in the 2023 calendar year to allow Pleasanton <br />Downtown Association time to provide comments on the item. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />City Manager <br />1. Approve meeting minutes for September 5, 2023 <br />Recommendation: Approve the minutes. <br />City Manager <br />2. Adopt a resolution accepting and approving the Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement <br />District 2023 annual report and 2024 budget and declaring the intent to levy the annual <br />assessment for 2024 <br />Recommendation: Waive the full reading and adopt Resolution No. 23-1415 accepting and <br />approving the Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District 2023 annual report and 2024 <br />budget as prepared by the Advisory Board, and setting the public hearing date for November 7, <br />2023, to levy the annual assessment. <br />3. Adopt a resolution changing the City Council regular meeting location to the Remillard Conference <br />Room at 3333 Busch Road for the remainder of the 2023 calendar year <br />Recommendation: Waive the full reading and adopt Resolution No. 23-1416 changing the City <br />Council regular meeting location to Remillard Conference Room for the remainder of the 2023 <br />calendar year. <br />Community Development <br />4. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br />Recommendation: Approve the actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. <br />Page 18 of 371
